By air – The closest airport to Plymouth is Exeter International airport (approximately an hour on the train to Plymouth, nearest station Exeter St. Davids), which services much of the UK and offers selected international flights. Bristol airport is approximately 2.5 hours by train (Bristol Temple Meads nearest train station) to Plymouth and offers a wider selection of international flights. For a full range of international flights, the London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Luton and Stansted) are between 3.5 and 5 hours from Plymouth by train.

By rail – There is a regular service direct from London Paddington which takes about 3.5 hours. Other direct services run from South Wales, the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland. By road – The A38 Devon Expressway links Plymouth to the motorway network at Exeter, giving a drive time from London of around 3.5 hours.

Limited on-site parking is available for visitors in our front car park and can be reserved on request. Paid on-street parking is also available close by. On-site, access controlled parking is available for staff.
