Ben Calton

PML Applications’ Manager of the Centre for Geospatial Applications (CGA), Ben Calton, leads a team of expert programmers and developers, offering Earth Observation satellite data and analysis and leading the development and delivery of CORDIAL. Our Earth observation product, CORDIAL, is available as a bespoke package that is set up by Ben and the CGA team to provide EO data and analysis on an easy-to-use platform, all developed and managed in-house. Our team is also able to set up CORDIAL to be hosted by a chosen company.

These remote sensing services involve applying algorithms and software to produce data products such as CORDIAL from Earth observation satellite imagery and using fixed wing and unmanned autonomous vehicles on a commercial, operational basis.

Ben brings over 20 years of experience to the team from his career in commercial software development, providing solutions for supply chain and stock management, asset management, geographic information systems (GIS), and satellite communications.
