Earth Observation Training & Capacity Development
Achieving observations, developments and training

Earth observations are taken throughout the marine environment in order to gather information. This can focus on the planet itself, its seas or oceans, and also they interrelate. Chemical and biological systems are observed using remote sensing technologies. These involve the use of satellites carrying imaging devices which collect video and photographic content for assessment. Earth observations are used in our industry to monitor, assess and regulate changes in the natural marine environment.
Capacity development is the process by which we achieve results in development. The marine environment utilises this to strengthen, create, adapt and maintain capacity over time.
