PML Applications and Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) are attending the IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition in Glasgow on 5th – 8th October 2026 to share our water quality expertise with attendees. Meet members of our team from both PML Applications, the commercial arm, and Plymouth Marine Laboratory, the charity, at stands 631 and 520. Stefan Simis and Michael Day will showcase our work in the Innovation Hub and present on Tuesday 6th October from 11:00 am to 11.30 am, sharing examples of how our work is advancing marine and freshwater environmental intelligence.
Our team will be ready to discuss our complete suite of services, whether you are in the drinking water, wastewater, government, regulation, research, or technology sector. Across PML Group, we provide different perspectives and expertise for your project, including research and development, scalable technology, and environmental services.
PML’s capabilities across freshwater, estuarine, and marine environments include:
- Environmental intelligence and decision-making support
- Site surveys and monitoring with satellites, drones, boats and citizen science
- In situ water quality, nutrients and biodiversity assessment
Alongside these services, PML Applications offers Earth Observation data tool, CORDIAL, to help you integrate environmental data, visualisations, modelling, and reporting to support water quality management, early warning systems and strategic planning.
Applied Research Scientist, Michael Day, will represent PML Applications at the World Water Congress. He has first-hand experience leading estuarine and marine surveys, conducting nutrient analysis in the laboratory and interpreting data to support targeted investments in water quality.
